Sobha Hi-tech City
Sobha Hi-tech city is a planned industry township for knowledge-based companies to be constructed in Kochi, India. The project, being constructed by Sobha Developers Ltd, will come up at Maradu. With an initial investment of Rs. 50 billion, the project also has the single highest investment in Kerala. On completion, the project is expected to have of developed space for research, trade and development in Information technology, biotechnology, electronic hardware and other knowledge based services. The project would be among the largest such ventures in the country, and is expected to generate over 75,000 direct jobs. There were major opposition to the project from parties in the ruling Left Democratic Front and environmental activists alleging massive destruction to the environment. Sobha Brahma
Sobha Brahma (14 October 1929 – 2012) was an Indian painter and sculptor. He lived and worked in Guwahati. He graduated from the Kalabhavana Visva-Bharati University Shantiniketan West-Bengal. Brahma developed a unique individual style that mixed traditional folk and modern Indian art. He served as the Principal of the Government College Of Arts and Crafts Assam, as the vice-chairman of the prominent cultural centre Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra, set up under the Assam Accord, and as a member of the general council of Lalit Kala Akademi. Early life and education Sobha Brahma was born on October 14, 1929, in Gossaigaon, Assam. Brahma attended Cotton College, Guwahati from 1948 to 1952. Sobha Singh (builder)
Honorary Magistrate, Sardar Bahadur, Sir Sobha Singh , M.L.C., M.P. (March 5, 1888 – 18 April 1978) was an Indian civil contractor, prominent builder and real estate developer of the modern day Delhi. Not only a builder, but he was also a subordinate architect and part of the Council of States laying the foundation of development schemes across cities and running various businesses. He came to be described as "Adhi Dilli ka Malik" (the owner of half of Delhi) as he virtually owned half of Lutyens' Delhi. He played the largest part in early industrial construction in Delhi in the 1920s and 1930s along with being a main participant in the Westernization and modernist collective Indian identity. He was a proficient real estate developer and a Sikh business icon. He also became the first Indian president of the New Delhi Municipal Council and held the post four times, in 1938, 1942, and 1945-46.

Sobha Singh (29 November 1901 – 22 August 1986) was an artist from Punjab, India, Punjab, India. Early life Sardar Sobha Singh was born on 29 November 1901 in a Sikh family in Sri Hargobindpur, Gurdaspur district of Punjab (British India), Punjab. His father, Deva Singh, was in the Indian cavalry. Sobha Singh joined British Indian Army as a draughtsman in 1919 and served at Iraq till 1923 when he resigned from the Army and opened his own studio at Amritsar in 1923. He moved to Lahore, Preet Nagar, Delhi, and Bombay before finally settling down in Andretta in 1947 as he was forced to leave Lahore due to the partition of India. Sobha (1958 Film)
Sobha is a 1958 Indian Telugu-language drama film directed by Kamalakara Kameswara Rao. It stars N. T. Rama Rao, Anjali Devi. The film was produced by Ponnaluri Brothers under the Sri Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures banner. Music was composed by A. M. Rajah in his debut. ''Sobha'' was a remake of the Hindi film '' Dulari'' (1949). The film was recorded as a ''Hit'' at the box office. Plot Sitamma, an affluent widow, dotes on her only daughter, Sobha. Mahalakshmi Menon, best known by her stagename Shobha (23 September 1962 – 1 May 1980), was an Indian actress best known for her work in Malayalam and Tamil films.
