Soanindrariny is a rural municipality in Madagascar. It belongs to the district of Antsirabe II, which is a part of Vakinankaratra Region. The population of the commune was estimated to be approximately 21,000 in the 2001 commune census. Primary and junior level secondary education are available in town. The majority 95% of the population of the commune are farmers, while an additional 5% receives their livelihood from raising livestock. The most important crops are rice and fruits, while other important agricultural products are maize and potatoes. Antsirabe II is a rural district in Vakinankaratra Region, Madagascar. The district surrounds the urban district and city of Antsirabe. It also borders the district of Faratsiho to the north, Antanifotsy to the east and Betafo to the west, in addition to the region of Antanifotsy to the south. Antanifotsy (also Antanifotsy Gara) is an urban municipality and a district located in Vakinankaratra Region in Madagascar. It has a population of 54,448 in 2018. The city is at 112 km from Antananarivo and at 60 km to Antsirabe. The municipality is 3 km off the RN7 that passes at Ilempona Gara, at the entrance of Antanifotsy. This is also a railway station on the Antananarivo - Antsirabe line. Antsirabe () is the third largest city in Madagascar and the capital of the Vakinankaratra region, with a population of 265,018 in 2014.
