Simon Robert Fuller (born 17 May 1960) is a British entrepreneur, artist manager, and film and television producer. He is the creator of the Idols (franchise), ''Idols'' TV format, including the British series ''Pop Idol'' and the American series ''American Idol''. Nigel Lythgoe
Nigel Lythgoe OBE (; born 9 July 1949) is an English television and film director and producer, television dance competition judge, former dancer in the Young Generation and choreographer. He was the producer of the shows ''Pop Idol'' and ''American Idol'' and created the 2009 competition ''Superstars of Dance''. He is also the creator and executive producer of ''So You Think You Can Dance (American TV series), So You Think You Can Dance'', on which he served as a permanent judge for the first sixteen seasons. Early life Lythgoe was born in Wallasey, Cheshire, to dockworker George Percival Lythgoe and Gertrude Emily Lythgoe. He became interested in dance at the age of ten and began tap dance, tap dancing,. Cheng Lei
Cheng Lei (; born on August 26, 1971) is a Chinese television presenter. Cheng Lei was a student in Shanghai Theater Academy in the 1990s. After graduation, he was chosen as a host for ''Broken Brain'' (智力大沖浪) by Shanghainese producer Xiao Chen. He also worked on several interviews. Cheng's family has a long history of liver disease.
