Snowboarding is a recreational and competitive activity that involves descending a snow-covered surface while standing on a snowboard that is almost always attached to a rider's feet. The XXV Winter Universiade, took place in Erzurum, Turkey between 27 January to 6 February. Erzurum is the city at the highest altitude in Turkey, at , and has over 320 cultural landmarks. Klára Koukalová (formerly Zakopalová; born 24 February 1982) is a Czech former tennis player. She was born and still lives in Prague. Li Shuang (; ; born 27 June 1992) is a Chinese snowboarder. She represented China at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. Career When she was 10, Li shifted from alpine skiing to snowboarding in the half-pipe. She became a member of the national team in 2006.
