Kitamaat Village, formerly Kitimat Mission, is the principal community of the Haisla people and their government, the Haisla Nation. Located on the ''Kitamaat 2'' First Nations Reserve (formerly Kitimat 2) on the east side of Kitimat Arm just south of the town of Kitimat, British Columbia. The location is also that of the ''Haisla'' Post Office. The ''Western Canadian Music Awards'' (WCMAs) are an annual awards event for music in the western portion of Canada. The Trans Mountain Pipeline System, or simply the Trans Mountain Pipeline, is a pipeline that carries crude and refined oil from Alberta to the coast of British Columbia, Canada. The pipeline is currently owned by the Government of Canada through Trans Mountain Corporation, a subsidiary of the federal Crown corporation Canada Development Investment Corporation (CDEV).
