Snohomish United
Snohomish United is an American soccer club based in Snohomish, Washington, in the Seattle metropolitan area. They plan to field a semi-professional men's team in the Northwest Division of USL League Two in 2025. History Snohomish Youth Soccer was founded in the 1970s to organize youth soccer competitions in Snohomish County and began to field a premier boys' team named Snohomish United in 1989. The organization also hosts several annual soccer tournaments, including the Snohomish United Invitational, Kla Ha Ya Days Adult Tournament, and Bigfoot Tournament for hundreds of youth teams. Snohomish United later became affiliated with the Elite Clubs National League. USL League Two
USL League Two (USL2), formerly the Premier Development League (PDL), is a semi-professional soccer league sponsored by United Soccer Leagues in the United States, forming part of the United States soccer league system. The league will feature 144 teams for the 2025 season, split into nineteen regional divisions across four conferences. USL League Two is headquartered in Tampa, Florida. The Seacoast United Phantoms are the current champions, having defeated Peoria City 3–2 in extra time to win the 2024 USL League Two Championship final on August 3, 2024. Elite Clubs National League
The Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) is a national youth soccer developmental league in the United States. It was founded in 2009 as a girls' league and added a boys' league in 2017. Competition format The ECNL is divided by age groups from U-13 through U-19, and into nine (girls') or ten (boys') regional conferences of nine to 16 clubs. Clubs play regular season matches within their conferences, and top teams and wildcards can qualify for a post-season national round-robin champions' league competition. The ''Snohomish County Tribune'' is a weekly newspaper based in Snohomish County, Washington. It is owned by Pacific Publishing Company. History The predecessor to the newspaper was the ''Snohomish Weekly Sun'', which first came off the presses in the summer of 1888 with George W. Head as editor and manager. The paper transitioned to daily publication in July 1889. The ''Sun'' was sold to W.M Sanger in 1892 and became a Republican-oriented tri-weekly. The paper's name was changed to ''Snohomish County Tribune'' on July 28, 1892. Ownership changed multiple times over the years, but its longest reign of single ownership was under Thomas E.
