''Smoking Guns'' is a 2016 British crime comedy film written and directed by Savvas D. Michael. The film is produced by John Pavlakos, Andrew Neophytou and executive produced by Hollywood Producer Steven Paul, Lara Minassian and Andrew Downer. It stars Dexter Fletcher, Daniel Caltagirone, Count Prince Miller, Ewen MacIntosh, Paul Anastasi, Andreas Karras, Jamie Crew, Tommy O'Neil and Mem Ferda. Dexter Fletcher
Dexter Fletcher (born 31 January 1966) is an English film director and actor. He has appeared in Guy Ritchie's '' Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels'', as well as in television shows such as the comedy drama ''Hotel Babylon'' and the HBO series '' Band of Brothers'' and, earlier in his career, starred as Spike Thomson in the comedy drama '' Press Gang''. His earliest acting role was playing Baby Face in the 1976 film '' Bugsy Malone''. Fletcher made his directorial debut with '' Wild Bill'' (2011), and also directed '' Sunshine on Leith'' (2013) and '' Eddie the Eagle'' (2015). He replaced Bryan Singer as director of ''Bohemian Rhapsody'', a biopic about the band Queen, released in October 2018; due to DGA rules, he received executive producer credit. Motörhead
Motörhead () were an English rock band formed in London in 1975 by Lemmy (lead vocals, bass), Larry Wallis (guitar) and Lucas Fox (drums). Lemmy was also the primary songwriter and only constant member. The band are often considered a precursor to the new wave of British heavy metal, which re-energised heavy metal in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Though several guitarists and drummers have played in Motörhead, most of their best-selling albums and singles feature drummer Phil "Philthy Animal" Taylor and guitarist "Fast" Eddie Clarke. Placebo (band)
Placebo are a British rock band, formed in London in 1994 by vocalist–guitarist Brian Molko and bassist–guitarist Stefan Olsdal. Drummer Robert Schultzberg joined in late 1994, but left in 1996 shortly after the release of the band's eponymous debut album due to conflicts with Molko, and was replaced the same year by Steve Hewitt. Following the release of a demo, a split single, and their eponymous debut album, Placebo gained exposure in 1997 after the single " Nancy Boy" became popular in the UK, a song notorious at the time for its gender-bending content. The band stood out amongst the Britpop scene they were associated with at the time for their androgynous appearance and musical content, and lyrics which openly discussed sexuality, mental health, and drug use. "La Bamba" () is a Mexican folk song, originally from the state of Veracruz, also known as "La Bomba". The song is best known from a 1958 adaptation by Ritchie Valens, a Top 40 hit in the U.S. charts. Valens's version is ranked number 345 on ''Rolling Stone magazine''′s list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. "La Bamba" has been covered by numerous artists, notably by Los Lobos whose version was the title track of the 1987 film '' La Bamba'', a bio-pic about Valens; their version reached No. 1 in many charts in the same year. "Man of Constant Sorrow" (also known as "I Am a Man of Constant Sorrow") is a traditional American folk song first published by Dick Burnett, a partially blind fiddler from Kentucky. The song was originally titled "Farewell Song" in a songbook by Burnett dated to around 1913. A version recorded by Emry Arthur in 1928 gave the song its current titles. Several versions of the song exist that differ in their lyrics and melodies. The song was popularized by the Stanley Brothers, who recorded the song in the 1950s; many other singers recorded versions in the 1960s, most notably by Bob Dylan. George Lawrence Thorogood (born February 24, 1950) is an American musician, singer and songwriter from Wilmington, Delaware. His "high-energy boogie-blues" sound became a staple of 1980s rock radio, with hits like his original songs " Bad to the Bone" and " I Drink Alone". He has also helped to popularize older songs by American icons, such as " Move It on Over", " Who Do You Love?", and "House Rent Blues/ One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer". "Ace of Spades" is a song by English heavy metal band Motörhead and the title track to the album ''Ace of Spades''. It was released as a single in October 1980. Overview Initially issued as a 7" vinyl single on 27 October 1980 as a preview to the album ''Ace of Spades'' and autumn tour, the song was also released by Bronze Records as a 12" vinyl pressing in special Christmas picture sleeves, limited to 50,000 copies. The picture of the band in Santa outfits used on the cover was taken at the Aylesbury Fair, while the band were on tour. Bronze also issued German and Spanish 7" vinyl versions which had a different sleeves, as well as a Japanese release, with a colour picture insert with song lyrics in English and Japanese. The East End Film Festival was one of the UK's largest film festivals. It ceased all operations on 4 March 2020. The owner, Alison Poltock, explained that "the push to provide a more mainstream commercial offering is not for us." The Edgewater Casino is a former casino that was located at 760 Pacific Blvd South Vancouver, British Columbia. It was in operation from 2005 to 2017. History The Edgwater Casino opened in February 2005. In 2006, the casino was acquired by Paragon Gaming who would manage it for more than ten years. In September 2006, the company purchased the bankrupt casino for $43 million. The casino was closed on September 29, 2017. This was the same day that across the street, the Parq Vancouver opened its doors. Statistics In 2013, it generated $6.6 million for the city. In 2014 it was $7.2 million.
