All Them Witches
All Them Witches is an American rock band from Nashville, Tennessee. The band consists of drummer Robby Staebler, vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Charles Michael Parks Jr., guitarist Ben McLeod, and keyboardist/multi-instrumentalist Allan Van Cleave. History Formation and early years (2012–2015) All Them Witches formed on January 6, 2012. Drummer Robby Staebler, having lost all of his money, had recently sold many of his possessions and moved to Nashville from Portland, at which time he was living in his car. The intention of the move had been for Staebler to play in another person's band; however, he left the project upon finding the other party difficult to work with. Staebler had created a rough collection of eight tracks – on which he played all instruments – and, being "in love with the sound," was looking for musicians to turn that project into a band. ''ATW'' is the fifth studio album by American psychedelic rock band All Them Witches. The album was released on September 28, 2018, through New West Records. Background and production In a July 2018 interview with ''DEAD PRESS!'', All Them Witches announced that they had begun writing their new album that January, and were aiming for a release around the end of September. ''ATW'' has been classified as a psychedelic rock and blues rock album. The band self-produced the album at a secluded cabin outside of their hometown of Nashville, Tennessee. ''ATW'' was recorded in five days, with All Them Witches recording each song around five times. Mixing was done at MANT Studios in Los Angeles, California, while mastering took place at Infrasonic Sound in Nashville. Release and promotion An official music video for the track "Diamond" was released on September 12, 2018. AllMusic (previously known as All-Music Guide and AMG) is an American online music database. It catalogs more than three million album entries and 30 million tracks, as well as information on musicians and bands.
