''Sleeping Beauty Wakes'' is a musical with book by Rachel Sheinkin, who won a Tony Award for The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and a pop score by composer Brendan Milburn and lyricist Valerie Vigoda, two members of the indie music trio GrooveLily. Tony Award
The Antoinette Perry Award for Excellence in Broadway Theatre, more commonly known as a Tony Award, recognizes excellence in live Broadway theatre. Charles McNulty (born 1966) is the chief theatre critic for the ''Los Angeles Times'' newspaper and a recipient of Cornell University's prestigious Nathan Award for dramatic criticism, who, himself, served as chairman of the Pulitzer Prize drama jury. Erika Amato (born December 7, 1969) is an American singer, actress and a founding member of the band Velvet Chain. Early life and education Amato was born in Plainfield, New Jersey, and grew up in nearby Mountainside. She started playing and performing music at the age of three. Deanne Bray (born May 14, 1971) is an American actress. Bray was born deaf and is multilingual in American Sign Language, British Sign Language, and English. She is also known as Deanne Bray-Kotsur. The Ovation Awards were a Southern California award for excellence in theatre, established in 1989. They were given out by the non-profit arts service organization LA Stage Alliance and are the only peer-judged theatre awards in Los Angeles. Rebecca Taichman is an American theatre director. In 2017, she received the Tony Award for Best Direction of a Play for '' Indecent''. Life and career Taichman attended McGill University, Montreal, and graduated from the Yale School of Drama. She was the associate artistic director at the Woolly Mammoth Theater in Washington, D.C. for two years.
