Sleep is a state of reduced mental and physical activity in which consciousness is altered and certain Sensory nervous system, sensory activity is inhibited. During sleep, there is a marked decrease in muscle activity and interactions with the surrounding environment. ''Keep Off'' () is a 2006 Dutch teen film directed by Maria Peters, based on the children's novel '' Afblijven'' by Carry Slee. The film, much like the book, explores drug abuse by adolescents and the negative effects it has on their lives. The film received a Golden Film (100,000 visitors). Plot Fourteen-year-old Melissa (Sem Veeger) pretends she's taking ballet lessons, to please her strict father, while she is in fact a hip hop dancer. She is given the opportunity to audition for background dancer in a video clip, but grows uncertain of her abilities. A newly met friend, Jim, gives her XTC, which enhances her performance. She is then selected to be in the music video. Her close friends Jordi and Fleur watch as Melissa becomes dependent on both XTC and Jim, who is now her new boyfriend, but can't convince Melissa she is making a wrong turn. Colin Slee
Colin Bruce Slee, OBE (10 November 1945 – 25 November 2010) was a priest in the Church of England, most notable for his final position as Dean of Southwark Cathedral from 1994 until his death. A friend of Desmond Tutu and Rowan Williams, Slee's churchmanship was liberal (he was influenced by the book ''Honest to God'' during his youth) and Anglo-Catholic. He gave his backing to Jeffrey John's nomination as a bishop in 2003 and was opposed to the use of the hymn "Jerusalem" in church. Early life Slee was born on 10 November 1945 in West London, as the son of a policeman. He was educated at Ealing Grammar School for Boys and then spent nearly two years in Papua New Guinea on Voluntary Service Overseas before studying theology at King's College London (where he won a university "purple" in rowing). George Slee (died 1 September 1613) of the Great House, Peter Street, Tiverton, Devon, was a wealthy wool merchant and clothier. He founded ''Slee's Almshouses'' in Tiverton, the building of which survives next to the Great House in Peter Street. His ornate chest tomb survives in St Peter's Church, Tiverton.
