Skylab IV
''Skylab IV'' is the fourth studio album by the Brazilian musician Rogério Skylab, the fourth in his series of ten eponymous, numbered albums. Self-released in 2003, it was the musician's first album to be recorded live without an audience – a trend which would continue for his subsequent studio releases. A music video for the track "Parafuso na Cabeça" came out in the same year, also the first-ever music video of his career; it was directed by Gustavo Caldas. The boy depicted in the album's cover is Skylab's nephew, as he would state in a later interview with Jô Soares. The album can be downloaded for free on Skylab's official website. The digital download version comes with the bonus tracks "Câncer no Cu" and "Chico Xavier & Roberto Carlos (singer), Roberto Carlos"; Skylab himself, "in an example of 'self-censorship'", omitted them from the original physical release for considering them too controversial, even for his standards. Rogério Skylab
Rogério Tolomei Teixeira (born September 2, 1956), better known by his stage name Rogério Skylab, is a Brazilian singer-songwriter, lyricist, classical guitarist, poet, essayist, record producer, actor and former television presenter. His unique musical style is characterized by minimalism and eclecticism, and his lyrics are permeated by acerbic allusions to popular culture, pessimism, scatology, nihilism and black comedy (he has, however, always denied that his songs have humorous purposes). ''Skylab IX'' is a live album by the Brazilian musician Rogério Skylab, the ninth in his series of ten eponymous, numbered albums and his second live album overall following ''Skylab II'' from 2000. It was self-released on September 2, 2009 and recorded in September the previous year during a gig at the Centro Cultural São Paulo. The album includes guest appearances by Löis Lancaster of Zumbi do Mato (who previously collaborated with Skylab on ''Skylab II''), Maurício Pereira of Os Mulheres Negras (with whom Skylab wrote "O Mundo Tá Sempre Girando", off his 2007 release ''Skylab VII'') and Marcelo Birck of Graforreia Xilarmônica (who co-wrote the previously unreleased track "Samba de uma Nota Só ao Contrário", whose title parodies Tom Jobim's 1963 hit "Samba de uma Nota Só"). Anal Cancer
Anal cancer is a cancer which arises from the anus, the distal opening of the gastrointestinal tract. Symptoms may include bleeding from the anus or a lump near the anus. Other symptoms may include pain, itchiness, or discharge from the anus. A change in bowel movements may also occur. Risk factors include human papillomavirus (HPV), HIV/AIDS, receptive anal sex, smoking, and many sexual partners. Anal cancer is typically a squamous cell carcinoma. ''Skylab VII'' is the seventh studio album by the Brazilian musician Rogério Skylab, the seventh in his series of ten eponymous, numbered albums. It was self-released in 2007, and counted with guest appearances by musicians Maurício Pereira (vocalist and saxophonist of the duo Os Mulheres Negras), Zé Felipe and Marlos Salustiano (bassist and keyboardist for now-defunct avant-garde band Zumbi do Mato, respectively), who co-wrote some of the tracks alongside Skylab. Skylab and Zé Felipe would come up with the collaborative output ''Rogério Skylab & Orquestra Zé Felipe'' two years later. The album can be downloaded for free on Skylab's official website. Skylab II (album)
''Skylab II'' is a live album by the Brazilian musician Rogério Skylab, the second in his series of ten eponymous, numbered albums. His first ever live album, it was self-released in 2000 and recorded during a gig at the Hipódromo Up in Rio de Janeiro in the same year. Löis Lancaster, vocalist of now-defunct experimental rock band Zumbi do Mato (one of Skylab's greatest influences), was a guest musician on the album, providing additional vocals for the track "Samba". Nine years later, Lancaster would return for ''Skylab IX''. The album is considered one of Skylab's finest by fans and critics alike, and the songs "Convento das Carmelitas" and "Carrocinha de Cachorro-Quente" eventually became set list regulars after appearing here in recorded form for the first time. A studio re-recording of "Cu e Boca" would appear six years later on ''Skylab VI''; afterwards, "Ato Falho" and "Música Suave" were re-recorded for ''Caos e Cosmos, Vol. 2'' in 2022.
