Sky News At Seven
Sky News at Seven was a weekend news programme on Sky News and Sky News HD in the United Kingdom. It ran from 7pm to 7.30pm on Saturday and Sunday. It was usually presented by Mark Longhurst. The programme was followed by Sportsline from 7:30 to 8:00pm. Until late 2008, ''Sky News at Seven'' was part of the weekday schedule, presented by Anna Botting, but was dropped in favour of SkyNews.com, which has also been axed as of 2010. Mark Longhurst
Mark Longhurst is a British news presenter. Longhurst presented on ITV's regional news, ITV News West Country until October 2017. Before this, he was a presenter at Sky News, where he presented the channel's evening news programmes from Friday to Sunday until August 2016. Before joining Sky, he was a presenter for TV-am, Independent Television News, BBC One's South Today programme and for BBC World. He is currently employed by GB News where he presents ‘GB Newsday’ with Gloria De Piero. Education Longhurst was educated at Reigate Grammar School, at the time a state voluntary aided grammar school in the town of Reigate in Surrey, and then Midhurst Grammar School, a state grammar school in the market town of Midhurst in West Sussex. Sportsline is a sports news magazine broadcast on the United Kingdom rolling news channel '' Sky News''. The programme is broadcast on weekends from 19:30–20:00 (UK) following ''Sky News''. The programme may be pre-empted by live coverage of ongoing events if this is required. Anna Botting
Anna Elizabeth Botting (born 4 November 1967) is an English news presenter with Sky News, a broadcasting network based in the United Kingdom. She currently presents Sky News from 21:00 until midnight from Monday to Thursday. Prior to the channel's rescheduling in July 2006, Botting presented ''The Sky Report'', and from then until February 2007, she presented Sky News from 18:00 to 20:00 alongside Jeremy Thompson. Background Botting, born in Cranleigh, Surrey, is the daughter of Douglas Botting, explorer and author, and Louise Botting, a company director and former broadcaster. Gillian Angela Joseph (born 20 July 1969) is a British newscaster currently working for Sky News. Joseph is the anchor of weekend editions of '' Sky News at Ten''. Early life She was born in 1969 in Coventry, England. Her parents originated from Dominica in the Caribbean. Samantha Rose Simmonds (born ) is an English newsreader, television presenter and journalist. She was a news anchor for Sky News until July 2016. She returned to presenting for BBC News in March 2017. Early life Simmonds was born to an Iranian mother and a Yorkshire-born father. Her mother moved to the United Kingdom in the 1960s.
