Sky Blue (film)
''Wonderful Days'' (released in US and UK as ''Sky Blue'') is a South Korean Adult animation, adult animated science fiction film released in 2003 and was written and directed by Kim Moon-saeng. It features backdrops rendered using photo-realistic computer-generated imagery (CGI), comparable to those in the film ''Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within'', along with the use of highly detailed models for some of the backdrops into which the cel animated characters were then animated. However, convincing CGI animation of humans (especially human movement) was not attempted. The backgrounds in the film were shot with traditional motion control techniques, then processed to look like computer graphics. The vehicles were all rendered, and the characters were cel animated. Plot ''Wonderful Days'' is set in 2142. Environmental pollution has led to a breakdown of human civilization. A technologically advanced city named Ecoban was built and it harvests energy from the DELOS System, which us ...

Sky Blue (song)
"Sky Blue" is a song written and recorded by English musician Peter Gabriel. In September 2002, it appeared on Gabriel's seventh studio album, '' Up''. Fragments of the song were also used on Gabriel's soundtrack album '' Long Walk Home: Music from the Rabbit-Proof Fence'', which preceded the release of ''Up'' by a few months. Background The origins of "Sky Blue" date back to the 1980s around 15 years before the song's eventual release on ''Up'' in 2002. Gabriel first developed the main riff, which he earmarked for future use. He recorded a version of the song for the '' Us'' album in 1992, but it went unused. Gabriel returned to the song for ''Up'', making it the oldest song on the album. In comparison to the demo recorded for ''Us'', which Gabriel described as having a band oriented arrangement, the version found on ''Up'' features sparser instrumentation. Five months prior to the release of ''Up'', segments from the chorus of "Sky Blue" were included on "Ngankarrparni" and "Clo ...

Sky Blu (Antarctica)
Sky Blu is a forward operating station for the British Antarctic Survey located in southern Palmer Land, Antarctica. It is in an area of blue ice, an extremely hard and dense ice which has lost the air bubbles that normally cloud the ice. It provides a runway able to accommodate wheeled aircraft that are larger than can be handled by other types of runways in the area. The facility is used to store fuel drums and field equipment for onward transport by the Twin Otter aircraft. The camp is staffed by a minimum of 2, but usually 3 people, including a mechanic. Staff eat and sleep in a Melon hut, but there is also a garage and other tents. History It was first located by the British Antarctic Survey (BAS) in 1993-94 and rapidly became an essential tool in BAS's ability to operate further south. This is mainly because the Blue Ice runway is able to accommodate wheeled aircraft. BAS can therefore fly its Dash-7 4-engined plane from Rothera directly to Sky Blu. The Dash has a muc ...
