Skanderborg Festival
Smukfest (also known as the Skanderborg Festival) is an annual music festival, held during the second weekend of August in Denmark. Its location, in a beech forest in the vicinity of Skanderborg, has given rise to the slogan "Denmark's Most Beautiful Festival" (Danish: ''Danmarks Smukkeste Festival''). The festival covers many styles of music, such as rock music, rock, pop music, pop, folk music, folk, heavy metal music, heavy metal, Hip hop music, hip-hop and electronic music, electronic. The festival focuses mainly on Danish music, but with some big names from other countries e.g. Britney Spears, Eric Clapton, Prince (musician), Prince, Pet Shop Boys, Ozzy Osbourne, Tom Jones (singer), Tom Jones, Fat Boy Slim, Blood Hound Gang, Rihanna and many more. Skanderborg
Skanderborg is a town in Skanderborg Municipality, Denmark. It is situated on the north and north eastern brinks of Skanderborg Lake and there are several smaller ponds and bodies of water within the city itself, like Lillesø, Sortesø, Døj Sø and the swampy boglands of Eskebæk Mose. Just north of the town on the other side of Expressway E45, is the archaeologically important Illerup Ådal. Peter Sommer
Peter Sommer Christensen (born 28 August 1974 in Skanderborg) is a Danish singer and songwriter. His lyrics are often characterized by interesting puns and word plays. Besides his solo career, he was in the duo Superjeg with Carsten Valentin Lassen, and is currently part of the duo De Eneste To alongside Simon Kvamm. DR (), officially the Danish Broadcasting Corporation in English, is a Danish public-service radio and television broadcasting company. The Roskilde Festival is a Danish music festival held annually south of Roskilde. It is one of the largest music festivals in Europe and the largest in the Nordic countries. It was created in 1971 by two high school students and a promoter.
