Ska Keller
Franziska Maria "Ska" Keller (; born 22 November 1981) is a German politician and was member of the European Parliament for the Germany constituency from 2009 to 2024. She is a member of the Alliance 90/The Greens, part of the European Green Party. From 2016 to 2022, Keller served as co-president of the Greens/EFA group in the European Parliament. She has been a member of the Committee on Fisheries (PECH) as well as the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety (ENVI). She was the European Greens' frontrunner during the European elections 2014 together with José Bové and has been elected to lead them again for the European elections 2019, together with Dutchman Bas Eickhout. She served three terms as an MEP (2009–2024), first elected into the European Parliament at the age of 27 in 2009. The Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety (ENVI) is a committee of the European Parliament. It has 81 full members and is currently chaired by Antonio Decaro. Evolution During the 1990s its relatively low importance led to its being referred to unfavourably by MEPs as the " Cinderella committee". However, since then the committee's powers have increased. Islamic studies is the academic study of Islam, which is analogous to related fields such as Jewish studies and Quranic studies. Islamic studies seeks to understand the past and the potential future of the Islamic world. In this multidisciplinary program, scholars from diverse areas (history, culture, literature, art) participate and exchange ideas pertaining to the particular field of study. Bas Eickhout
Bas Eickhout (born 8 October 1976) is a Dutch politician who has been a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) since the 2009 elections. He is a member of the GreenLeft, part of the European Green Party. Education and early career Eickhout was born in 1976 in Groesbeek, Gelderland, and he attended high school at the Cobbenhagen College in Tilburg. Between 1994 and 2000, he studied chemistry and environmental science at Radboud University in Nijmegen. During his studies, Eickhout was an intern at research information centers in Nijmegen and in the United States. He also served as chairman in the Nijmegen Association of Chemistry Students Sigma, later a member of the Nijmegen University Council.
