"Sjumilakliv" is a song written by Martin and David Stenmarck, and recorded by Martin Stenmarck on his 2006 album ''9 sanningar och en lögn'' as well as released as a single the same year. The song topped the Swedish singles chart, and a Bassflow remix was later released. The song was awarded a Grammis Award for "Song of the year 2006" and a Rockbjörnen award in the "Swedish song of the year" category. On 8 October 2006, the song topped Svensktoppen and on 28 October the same year it also topped Trackslistan. The single sold platinum twice. Martin Stenmarck
Martin Olof Jon Stenmarck (born 3 October 1972) is a Swedish singer. He represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 with the song "Las Vegas", finishing 19th with 30 points. Career In 2006, Stenmarck released his first single in Swedish, "Sjumilakliv", which became one of the year's biggest hits in Sweden. The single was certified Platinum and spent 10 weeks at No. 1 on the official Swedish singles chart. The album ''Nio sanningar och en lögn'' (''Nine truths and one lie'') topped the Swedish albums chart and achieved gold status in the first of its three weeks at number 1. Stenmarck has also embarked on a voice acting career, dubbing animated films. He provided the Swedish voice for Lightning McQueen in the Disney movie ''Cars''. Grammis
The Grammis are music awards presented annually to musicians and songwriters in Sweden. The oldest Swedish music awards, they were instituted as a local equivalent of the Grammy Awards given in the United States. The awards ceremony is generally held each year in February in Stockholm. The awards were established in 1969 and awarded until 1972 when they were cancelled, then revived in 1987. There are around 20 different award categories, which have changed over the years. Swedish artists and foreign artists who live in Sweden are eligible, as are artists in other countries if their music is produced in Sweden and targets a Swedish audience. Sverigetopplistan (, lit. "the Sweden top list") is the Swedish national record chart, formerly known as Topplistan (1975–1997) and Hitlistan (1998–2007) and known by its current name since October 2007, based on sales data from the Swedish Recording Industry Association (in Swedish Grammofonleverantörernas förening). Before Topplistan, music sales in Sweden were recorded by Kvällstoppen, whose weekly chart was a combined albums and singles list. Peter Boström
Peter Boström (born May 19, 1971) is a Swedish music producer and songwriter. He is also known as Bassflow. Boström wrote his first song at the age of seven. In 1992, at the age of 21, he started Bassflow Productions, a production company near Stockholm, Sweden. As a producer, he worked with a number of well-known Swedish artists including Bosson, Basic Element, Petrus, E-Type, Ola Svensson, Martin Stenmarck, Carola, and Charlotte Perrelli. He also wrote a number of songs for Melodifestivalen performers. In 2008, he signed for peermusic Sweden. Rockbjörnen (Swedish: ''the Rock Bear'') is a music prize in Sweden, divided into several categories, which is awarded annually by the newspaper ''Aftonbladet''. The prize was first awarded in 1979, and is mostly centered on pop and rock. In 2010, Rockbjörnen was redone and focused more on live performances. This initiative was hailed by artists and industry. ''Svensktoppen'' () is a weekly record chart airing at Sveriges Radio. Until January 2003, the songs had to be in the Swedish language. Svensktoppen has aired since 1962, except for the years 1982-1985. The last years before the January 2003 change, the programme was strongly dominated by dansband music.
