''Sixwire'' is the self-titled debut album by the American country music band Sixwire. It was released on June 30, 2002 (see 2002 in country music) on Warner Bros. Records Nashville. The album produced two singles for the band on the ''Billboard'' Hot Country Singles & Tracks (now Hot Country Songs) charts in "Look at Me Now" and "Way Too Deep", which respectively reached numbers 30 and 55 on that chart. The album itself peaked at number 38 on the Top Country Albums chart and number 32 on Top Heatseekers. Lead guitarist Steve Mandile produced the album. Robert L. ''Can You Duet'' is an American reality-competition show on CMT. The show was produced by FremantleMedia, the same company that produces ''American Idol''. The show premiered on April 14, 2008, and the first season ended on June 13, 2008. Sixwire, runners up from Fox's ''Next Great American Band'', performed as the house band for ''Can You Duet'' with Steve Mandile serving as the show's musical director. Two additional musicians, Steve Hornbeak on keyboards and Andrea Young on violin, performed with Sixwire during the show. The show was cancelled after two seasons. Steve Sample Sr. (1929/30 – 22 August 2020) was a bandleader, arranger, composer and jazz educator. For more than 30 years, Sample was a professor in the Music Department of the University of Alabama, where he directed the Jazz Ensembles and taught music theory, arranging and jazz related courses. Sample trained many notable jazz musicians during his long tenure at Alabama, including Gary Wheat, Birch Johnson, Kelley O'Neal, Chris Gordon, Mervyn Warren, Cedric Dent, Beth Gottlieb, Mart Avant, Dick Aven and Ray Reach. Erika Jo Vastola (née Heriges, born November 2, 1986, in Angleton, Texas), known simply by the stage name Erika Jo, is an American country music recording artist who was declared winner of the 2005 season of the ''Nashville Star'' television program.
