''Six Colours Frenesi'' is a live video by the Brazilian musician Jupiter Apple. It was originally recorded during a venue at the famous Bar Opinião in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul on November 23, 2011, but only released in 2014 through the musician's own label, J.A.C.K. Records (J.A.C.K. is an acronym for "Jupiter Apple Corporation and Kingdom", and was also the name of his backing band at the time). It was the musician's final album prior to his death in the following year. Jupiter Apple
Flávio Basso (26 January 1968 – 21 December 2015), better known by his stage name Júpiter Maçã and by its English-language variation Jupiter Apple, was a Brazilian singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and filmmaker. Before beginning a solo career in 1994, he was already known for being a founding member of bands TNT (Brazilian band), TNT and Os Cascavelletes, both pioneers of the Rio Grande do Sul rock scene in the mid-to-late 1980s/early 1990s. ''Uma Tarde na Fruteira'' (Portuguese for "''An Evening at the Fruit Shop''") is the fourth studio album by the Brazilian musician Jupiter Apple; released in 2007 by Spanish label Elefant Records, it was the musician's final studio album to come out during his lifetime. Distancing itself from its predecessors ''Plastic Soda'' and ''Hisscivilization'', it is mostly sung in Portuguese and returns to the more "accessible" psychedelia of his 1997 debut ''A Sétima Efervescência'', in sonority terms. Os Cascavelletes were a Brazilian rock group from Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul. One of the first rock bands from Rio Grande do Sul to acquire mainstream success nationwide alongside its "sister project" TNT, they were characterized by their irreverent style inspired by 1950s-era rockabilly culture and acts such as The Rolling Stones and The Beatles, and by their comical, profanity- and sex-laden lyrics (in a musical style self-described as " porno rock").
