Fanny De Sivers
Fanny de Sivers (maiden name: Isak; 20 October 1920 – 22 June 2011) was an Estonian linguist, literature researcher, and essayist. Biography Fanny de Sivers was born in Pärnu. She studied humanities and arts at the University of Tartu from (1938 to 1941), left Estonia and moved to Germany in 1941, marrying von Sivers. She studied at the universities of Breslau, Würzburg and Innsbruck and acquired the academic degree of license in Paris and Lund. Beginning in 1949, Sivers lived in France, where she worked as an interpreter and secretary at state institutions, and from 1964 to 1986 she worked as linguist at the French National Centre for Scientific Research. She was a visiting professor at the University of Tartu from 1993–1994. She published numerous articles on language studies and literature; she also translated works of Estonian authors into French and vice versa. Malou Von Sivers
Marie-Louise "Malou" von Sivers (born 15 January 1953) is a Swedish journalist and television host, working mostly for TV4. She has a background in newspaper reporting both for Aftonbladet and Expressen where she did several noted wallraff and reports, often with a feminist angle. In 1987, von Sivers started Elle in Sweden and was the editor in chief, and in 1990 she was one of the first employees on the then newly founded TV4. In the show Malou möter... which she started presenting in 1998 she met some of the world's most famous people for exclusive interviews. Between 2003 and 2004 she presented the live interview show Hetluft along with Lennart Ekdahl. Malou von Sivers is since 2006 the presenter of the talkshow Efter tio. She has also previously been the presenter for the morning show Nyhetsmorgon ''Nyhetsmorgon'' is a Swedish morning news and talk show that is broadcast every morning on TV4. Rudolf Sivers
Rudolf Ferdinandovich Sivers (; 1892–1918) was a Russian revolutionary and military leader. Sivers was born in Saint Petersburg on 23 November 1892. A veteran of World War I, after the February Revolution he joined Bolsheviks, Bolshevik party and became a chief editor of "Entrenched Truth" newspaper in the 12th Army (Russian Empire), 12th Army. At the end of July 1917 he was arrested by the Russian Provisional Government for defeatism, but was released during the October Revolution. At the start of the Russian Civil War, Sivers led Red Guards and sailors in the battle at Pulkovo against forces of Krasnov–Kerensky. Soon thereafter in November 1917 along with his troops he was dispatched to Ukraine and the South Russia (Don River region). On 23 February 1918 Sivers' forces occupied Rostov-na-Donu and then Taganrog.
