Sitra Mall
Sitra Mall is a multi-storey shopping mall located in Sitra, Bahrain. It opened in 2006 and covers an area of 46,838 square meter. It is located adjacent to Tubli Bay and neighbors Al Noor International School, a Toyota/Lexus car showroom and the Sitra Causeway which connects Sitra island to the capital city Manama. The mall can hold up to 118 outlets. It is the first mall in the country to have a waterfront view. History __NOTOC__ It was also the first mall to ban smoking in public. As a result of the 2011 civil unrest that gripped the kingdom and local violence in Sitra, the mall has turned into a dead mall, as the violence deterred future tenants from the mall. Sitra ( ar, سترة or , ''As-Sitra''), also known as Sitrah ( ar, Jazīrat Sitrah, script=Latn) or Sitra Island ( ar, Jazīrat as-Sitra, script=Latn), is an island in Bahrain. It lies south of the capital, Manama, on Bahrain Island. Smoking
Smoking is a practice in which a substance is burned and the resulting smoke is typically breathed in to be tasted and absorbed into the bloodstream. Most commonly, the substance used is the dried leaves of the tobacco plant, which have been rolled into a small rectangle of rolling paper to create a small, round cylinder called a cigarette.
