Sisomphone Lovansay ( lo, ສີສົມພອນ ລໍວັນໄຊ; 7 July 1916 – 24 February 1993) was a Tai Dam politician and member of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party The Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) is the founding and sole ruling party of the Lao People's Democratic Republic. The party's monopoly on state power is guaranteed by Article 3 of the Constitution of Laos, and it maintains a unitary s ... (LPRP). He served as Vice President of the People's Supreme Court. The President of the National Assembly of the Lao People's Democratic Republic is the speaker of the National Assembly of Laos. Before 1991, the President of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the Lao People's Democratic Republic served as head of state and chairman of the presidium of the National Assembly's predecessor, the Supreme People's Assembly.
