Siran River
Siran Valley is a valley situated near the banks of Siran River in Pakhli, Pakhli region of Mansehra District, District Mansehra, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Swati tribe, Swati is the biggest landlord family of this valley. Siran valley consists of many union councils including Bhogarmang, Sacha Kalan and Jaborri, Jabori. According to official records, the Numberdars, Jageerdars, Khans, major politicians and Chiefs of this valley belongs to Swati tribe. Etymology The valley gets its name from the River Siran which flows through it. Geography The Siran River originates from the Mandagucha Glacier and merges into the Tarbela lake. The Siran issues by the glaciers of glorious mountains and flows through the western plain of Pakhli. Two canals have been taken out from the Siran River, the upper Siran canal at Dharial and lower Siran canal at Shinkiari. Musa Ka Musalla
Musa Ka Musalla ( is a peak standing at an altitude of about at the junction of Siran and in Himalayas. It is situated east of the city of Abbottabad in Baffa Pkhal of Mansehra District. Etymology The name Musa ka Musalla translates to Moses' mat. The legend has it that a shepherd named Musa used to pray there at the peak. There is also a shrine at the top probably of the same shepherd who is revered to as a saint by locals. Shinkiari
Shinkiari (; Hindko/Urdu: شنکیاری) is a Union Council of Mansehra District (Upper Pakhli) in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. It is a major tea city with many tea gardens. The police station was established before the Partition of India. At that time, Baffa was a police chowki of Shinkiari Police Station and the second police chowki was in Battal. Both chowkies have now become police stations while historically with poor political background Shinkiari is still a police station instead of a tehsil of Mansehra District.
