Sir Henry Heyman
Sir Henry Heyman, 1st Baronet (20 November 1610 – 1658) was an English politician who sat in the House of Commons of England, House of Commons from 1640 to 1653. He supported the Roundheads, Parliamentarian side in the English Civil War. Heyman was born at Selling, Kent, the son of Peter Heyman, Sir Peter Heyman, MP for Hythe 1621-1622, and his wife Sarah Collett, daughter of Peter Collett merchant of London.William Betham (1749–1839), William Betham ''The Baronetage of England: or The History of the English baronets, Volume 1''/ref> He was admitted to Gray's Inn in 1626. In April 1640, Heyman was elected Member of Parliament for Hythe (UK Parliament constituency), Hythe in the Short Parliament. He was re-elected in November 1640 for the Long Parliament. Heyman was created Heyman Baronets, Baronet of Somerfield in the County of Kent in the Baronetage of England on 12 August 1641. The House of Commons of England was the lower house of the Parliament of England (which Laws in Wales Acts 1535 and 1542, incorporated Wales) from its development in the 14th century to the union of England and Scotland in 1707, when it was replaced by the House of Commons of Great Britain after the 1707 Act of Union was passed in both the English and Scottish parliaments at the time. In 1801, with the union of Kingdom of Great Britain, Great Britain and Kingdom of Ireland, Ireland, that house was in turn replaced by the House of Commons of the United Kingdom.
