Sir Christus
Sir Christus (born Jukka Kristian Mikkonen; April 10, 1978 – December 7, 2017) was a Finnish guitarist, best known as the former rhythm guitarist of the glam rock band Negative. His father was Arwo Mikkonen, guitarist of the Finnish rock band Popeda. His father died in 1986, leaving eight-year-old Christus and his four-year-old brother Matthau, without a father figure in their life. On Negative's single "Fading Yourself" (March 14, 2007), Sir Christus did vocals for a bonus track: "Lost in America" (originally by Alice Cooper). Negative has never performed this song live. Christus performed this song live, with the band Private Line, on November 28, 2007. Previous projects SnoWhite SnoWhite, formerly known as Blaquarium, was founded in winter 2007 by Dino, Purtsi, Julius and Vode. Glam Rock
Glam rock is a style of rock music that developed in the United Kingdom in the early 1970s and was performed by musicians who wore outrageous costumes, makeup, and hairstyles, particularly platform shoes and glitter. Popeda
Popeda is a Finnish rock band hailing from Tampere and one of the staples of Manserock. Epe Helenius, who signed the band for Poko Rekords in 1977, called the band "Finnish Rolling Stones". Musically their style is a combination of rock 'n' roll, with humorous lyrics by their vocalist Pate Mustajärvi, often concerning girls, cars and drinking. Popeda was founded in November 1977 by Pauli "Pate" Mustajärvi and Ilari "Ilpo" Ainiala. Popeda's 1983 album ''Kaasua'' is considered their breakthrough. Pate Mustajärvi is currently the band's only original member. Finnish singer Erin released a single whose namesake is this particular band. Alice Cooper (born Vincent Damon Furnier, February 4, 1948) is an American rock singer whose career spans over five decades. With a raspy voice and a stage show that features numerous props and stage illusions, including pyrotechnics, guillotines, electric chairs, fake blood, reptiles, baby dolls, and dueling swords, Cooper is considered by many music journalists and peers to be "The Godfather of Shock Rock". He has drawn equally from horror films, vaudeville, and garage rock to pioneer a macabre and theatrical brand of rock designed to shock audiences. Private Line (band)
Private Line are a Finnish hard rock band from Helsinki, Finland, formed during the mid-1990s (in Jyväskylä, a city in the center of Finland) and continuing today. History Origins The band was founded in the 1990s, when the founding members, Sammy, Jari Huttunen, and Eliaz were still teenagers. They bonded through love of Hanoi Rocks and Mötley Crüe. Private Line won a local band competition and used the prize money from it to record and release their debut EP ''Smooth Motions'' in 1998. After recording ''Smooth Motions'', the band brought in two new members: Spit and Illy. Together they recorded a 5-song promo-CD. (Finnish for "morning newspaper") is a Finnish-language daily newspaper published in Tampere, Finland. History and profile ''Aamulehti'' was founded in 1881 to "improve the position of the Finnish people and the Finnish language" during Russia's rule over Finland.
