Sione Fukofuka is an Australian rugby union coach. Early career Fukofuka taught English and Physical Education at Brisbane State High School for sixteen years. Coaching career Fukofuka was the Development coach for the Australian Youth Women’s sevens team to the 2015 Commonwealth Youth Games, and for the Australian Men’s sevens team in 2019. From 2014 to 2017 he was the Queensland Women’s sevens team's Head Coach. In 2020, he was the Head Coach for the Sunnybank Rugby side in the Queensland Premier Rugby competition. He was the Queensland Reds Women's attack coach. He also served as the Wallaroos assistant coach for three years. 2015 Commonwealth Youth Games
The 2015 Commonwealth Youth Games, officially known as the V Commonwealth Youth Games, and commonly known as Samoa 2015, was the fifth Commonwealth Youth Games which started in the year 2000. It was held from 5 to 11 September, 2015 in Apia, the capital of Samoa. Samoa were the only bidders for the Games. All events took place in the capital city, Apia. The opening and closing ceremonies were held in Apia Park, which also hosted the athletics, rugby and tennis competitions. The Australia national rugby sevens team participates in international competitions such as the World Rugby Sevens Series and Rugby World Cup Sevens. Sunnybank Rugby Union Club is an Australian rugby union club based in the Brisbane suburb of Sunnybank, Queensland, currently competing in the Queensland Premier Rugby competition. It was established in 1969 and has won three premierships since it entered. History Sunnybank Rugby Union Club was founded in 1969 as a junior rugby union club, in the southern Brisbane suburb of Sunnybank. As a junior club, it was founded on the principle that any boy, no matter how good or bad a rugby player he was, would get a game. And so it remains in the ranks of the junior players at Sunnybank, however the word "boy" has been changed to "child".
