Sion Russell Jones
Siôn Russell Jones is a Welsh singer and songwriter. Jones was born in Cardiff, Wales, he started playing the guitar at the age of 7 and studied music at the University of Glamorgan (now the University of South Wales). Music career In October 2010, Jones released his debut solo album ''And Suddenly'' via Still Small Voice Music, and the single 'Indestructible' became BBC Radio Wales single of the week. And Suddenly's songs was used in the background on the British soap operas ''Coronation Street'' and '' EastEnders''. He's also had songs featured in the Welsh comedy ''Stella''. The Great Escape Festival
The Great Escape Festival is a three-day music festival held in Brighton and Hove, England every year in May. It is operated by MAMA Festivals and showcases new music from a variety of genres. The festival was founded in 2006 and roughly hosts 300 bands across 30 venues throughout the city. It has been likened to South by Southwest. There is also a music industry convention section to the event, which is attended by over 3000 delegates. The 2011-2014 conferences have been programmed by the team from music industry publication CMU. Speakers have included Michael Eavis, DJ Shadow, Paul Epworth, and representatives of companies such as Beggars Group, Ticketmaster, PRS for Music, Universal Music Group and Topspin. North By Northeast
North by Northeast (or NXNE) is an annual music and arts festival held each June in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The festival's main focus is live music, but it also includes an eSports gaming tournament, comedy, a conversations series, a flea market and more. The festival events happen in a variety venues with free events on Canada's largest street, Yonge Street with events on the Street and in Yonge Dundas Square.
