Singer Season 2
''I Am a Singer'' (season 2), is the second season of the Chinese TV series ''I Am a Singer (Chinese TV series), I Am a Singer'' produced by Hunan TV, produced by Hong Tao, and the show's music director is Kubert Leung. The season premiered on January 3, 2014, and concluded on April 4, 2014, with a live Biennial concert aired on April 11, 2014. Chinese Singer Han Lei was the winner of the season, with Hong Kong singer G.E.M. (singer), G.E.M. finishing as runner-up. Competition format Most of the competition format were retained from the I Am a Singer (Chinese season 1), first season, with seven singers each week singing for a 500-member audience; they then cast their ballots for the top three singers of their preference after all the singers had performed. Both the Qualifying and Knockout round scores are combined and decide which singer with a fewer vote share was eliminated. Phil Chang
Phil Chang (; Pha̍k-fa-sṳ: Chong Yí, born 30 April 1967) is a Taiwanese singer-songwriter, television presenter and actor. Education and career By the time he graduated from Feng Chia University in financial services, he was already known as an accomplished folk singer, pianist and guitar-player. He issued his first album, ''Walking the Wind'', in 1992, and achieved success with his second, ''Well-intentioned'', in 1993. In 1997 he married long-term partner, lyricist Hsiao Hui-wen (蕭慧文), who uses the pen name Shi Yi-lang (十一郎). His 1999 album ''Sun and Moon'' was another big hit. In 2004, he joined Chang Hsiao-yen to co-host ''Happy Sunday'', replacing Taiwanese girl group S.H.E. Shila Amzah
Nurshahila binti Amir Amzah (born 13 August 1990) better known as Shila Amzah is a Malaysian singer-songwriter. Born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, she began going to recording studios at the age of four with her father and recorded a pop studio album five years later. With the help of a famous Malaysian record producer, in 2005 Shila released her second pop studio album, ''Sha-Hila''. Her single "Patah Seribu" (2011) received Pop Song of the Year and Song of the Year at the 19th Malaysian Music Awards. She continued her singing career by breaking out to Shanghai, China and eventually won the '' Asian Wave''. A gold medal is a medal awarded for highest achievement in a non-military field. Its name derives from the use of at least a fraction of gold in form of plating or alloying in its manufacture. The seventh season of the Chinese television series Singer ( zh, 歌手; previously titled ''I Am a Singer'') was broadcast on Hunan Television between January and April 2019. ''Singer 2019'' was produced by Hong Tao, and its music director was Hong Kong senior musician Kubert Leung. The first episode was recorded on January 4, 2019, and first premiered in Mango TV on January 11, 2019. YouTube also broadcast the episodes with the results replaced by commercial snippets. The season ended on April 12, 2019, and Chinese singer Liu Huan named as the winner. Liu was the first mainland Chinese singer to win since Han Hong in season three, as well as the first male winner since Han Lei in season two. Taiwanese Sodagreen lead singer Wu Qing-feng and Chinese four-member band ''Super-Vocal'' (Frank Ju, Ayanga, Cai Chengyu, and ex-member Zheng Yunlong) finished runner-up and third place, respectively. ''Singer'' 2018 is the sixth season of the Chinese television series ''Singer'', a rebranded version of ''I Am a Singer'' that aired on Hunan Television. It is produced by Hong Tao, and its music director is Hong Kong senior musician Kubert Leung. The first episode was recorded in the Hunan Broadcasting System Radio and Television Center, Changsha, Hunan on December 28, 2017 and premiered on January 12, 2018 and ended on April 20, 2018. For the first time this series, YouTube provided English captions for the show. On April 13, 2018, British singer Jessie J was declared winner of Singer 2018, and was the first non-Chinese and foreign singer to win ''I Am a Singer''. Chinese singers Hua Chenyu and Wang Feng were placed second and third, respectively.
