"Singappenney" () is a 2019 Indian Tamil language song composed and sung by A. R. Rahman, from the film ''Bigil''. The song's lyrics were written by Vivek and featured additional vocals by Shashaa Tirupati. The song has a motivational theme for women, hailed as a women's anthem. The song was released as a first single track of the film on 23 July 2019. The song features Vijay including the 11 women football players. Rahman and Atlee Kumar has a special entrance in the film through this song. Background The making begins with director Atlee and lyricist Vivek asking A. R. The Panchathan Record Inn and AM Studios is composer/music director A. R. Rahman's studios on his street at Kodambakkam, Chennai in Tamil Nadu. History The Inn was established in 1989, attached to Rahman's backyard, and developed into one of the most developed studios in Asia. Located very close to his home, it houses equipment like the Euphonix System 5 Audio Mixing system. The studio has been designed by Studio 440 and the state of the art equipment is from Daxco Digital. His team includes acclaimed sound engineers of Chennai film music including the late H. Sai Shravanam is an Indian music producer, recording and scoring engineer. He is a self trained tabla player and one of the few classically trained sound engineers in the country. He is the owner and founder of Resound India in the city of Chennai.
