Sindre Tjelmeland
Sindre Tjelmeland (born 13 September 1989) is a Norwegian football manager. He is currently manager for Start. Tjelmeland hails from Etne and started playing as a child in Etne IL. He also made his senior debut, and helped win promotion from the sixth to the fifth tier. In 2005 he moved to attend upper secondary school in Haugesund, and played for the U19 team of FK Haugesund. Before finishing school, he opted to play for the senior team of Vard. He did not break through there, and instead featured for Etne in the autumn of 2008. He then did his military service in Stavanger and was contracted to IL Havørn, but moved to Bergen to study at the Norwegian School of Economics. Here he was quickly introduced to the local football milieu. Following stints in Sandviken and Arna-Bjørnar—with the latter club he won promotion and played in the 2013 2. divisjon—he moved to Åsane, managed by Kjetil Knutsen. IK Start
Idrettsklubben Start (or simply IK Start, translates to The sports club Start ) is a Norwegian football club from the city of Kristiansand that currently plays in the 1. divisjon, the second tier of the Norwegian football league system. The club was founded on 19 September 1905. The club's current head coach is Sindre Tjelmeland. The team plays in yellow jerseys, black shorts and socks at home, and black jerseys, yellow shorts and socks away. They play their home matches at Sør Arena, the club's own football stadium, opened in 2007. Before moving to Sør Arena, IK Start played their games at Kristiansand Stadion. The team's official supporter club was called "Tigerberget", until 2017, when the IK Start board decided to no longer have an official supporter club. Arna-Bjørnar Men's Players
Arna-Bjørnar Fotball is a Norwegian football club from Arna, Bergen. It was founded in late 2000 as a merger between the football branches from ''IL Bjørnar'' and ''Arna T&IL'', and replaced Bjørnar IL in the league system from 2001. The women's team has played since then in the ''Toppserien'' apart from the 2005 season when it was in the First divisjon. Prominent members of the women's team (2009) are goalkeepers Reidun Seth and Erika Skarbø, and Nigerian keeper Precious Dede brought in to cover while Skarbø recovers from a long-term wrist injury. Lars Øvernes (born 28 February 1989) is a retired Norwegian footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He has previously played for Haugesund in Eliteserien. Hailing from Etne, Øvernes made his debut in Eliteserien against Vålerenga on 8 August 2010. After six seasons as the second-choice goalkeeper in Haugesund, where he played four matches in Eliteserien and ten league matches in total, Øvernes left Haugesund when his contract expired after the 2012 season and signed for HamKam.
