"''Sin Limites''" is a four-track EP recorded by Belgian/Dutch Eurodance group 2 Unlimited. Release ''Sin Limites'' was released in 1994 as a collectors item in Chile and the US. The EP did not chart in these territories. Content ''Sin Limites'' is a collection of four hits from 2 Unlimited, but all choruses are sung by Anita Doth, Anita in Spanish. The rap lyrics by Ray Slijngaard, Ray were the same as the English version releases of the singles. During tours of Spanish speaking countries, Anita would often sing the Spanish versions of the songs. One of the most notable concert performances was the 1996 Vina Del Mar show in Chile. 2 Unlimited are a Belgian-Dutch dance music act, founded by Belgian producers/songwriters Jean-Paul De Coster and Phil Wilde in 1991 in Antwerp, Belgium. From 1991 to 1996, Dutch rapper Ray Slijngaard and Dutch vocalist Anita Doth fronted the act. During these five years, 2 Unlimited enjoyed worldwide mainstream success. Eurodance (sometimes referred to as Euro-NRG) is a genre of electronic dance music that originated in the late 1980s in Europe. It combines many elements of Hip-hop, rap, techno and Eurodisco. Anita Doth
Anita Doth (born 28 December 1971) is a Dutch singer and songwriter. She was the singer of the duo 2 Unlimited, which she formed together with rapper Ray Slijngaard. Personal life Anita Daniëlle Dels was born in Amsterdam to a Surinamese father, Rolf Dels, and a Dutch mother, Lydia. In 1991 she finished her education and landed her first job in an administrative position at a police station. She has one son. In January 2010, Doth announced that she was being treated for breast cancer, and undergoing chemotherapy. She continued to perform with Ray as much as possible under her treatment regimen. In 2011, she was declared cancer-free. On 8 November 2013, Doth announced via Twitter that 2 Unlimited would be taking a break until April 2014 as she was pregnant. Raymond Lothar Slijngaard (born 28 June 1971) is a Dutch singer and rapper best known as one half of the Eurodance duo 2 Unlimited. Music career 2 Unlimited (1991–1996) 2 Unlimited is an electronic music project founded in 1991 by Belgian producers Jean-Paul DeCoster and Phil Wilde, and fronted by Dutch rapper Ray Slijngaard and Dutch vocalist Anita Doth. In the early 1990s, Slijngaard was asked to write a rap lyric for a tune written by the two Belgian producers. Slijngaard also wrote a chorus to be sung by a female vocalist, for which he invited Anita Doth. The demo was presented to De Coster and Wilde, leading to Slijngaard joining 2 Unlimited, and " Get Ready for This" was produced as their first single. "Faces" is a song by Belgian/Dutch Eurodance band 2 Unlimited, released on 23 August 1993, by labels Byte, Zyx and PWL, as the third single from their second album, '' No Limits!'' (1993). The song was co-written by band members Ray Slijngaard and Anita Dels, with Phil Wilde and Jean-Paul De Coster who produced it. "Faces" peaked at number two in the Netherlands, number eight in the United Kingdom and at number six on the Eurochart Hot 100. "Maximum Overdrive" is a song by Belgian-Dutch Eurodance band 2 Unlimited, released in November 1993 by Byte Records as the fourth single from their second album, '' No Limits!'' (1993). The song was written by band members Ray Slijngaard and Anita Dels with Phil Wilde and Filip Martens, while Wilde produced it with Jean-Paul De Coster. The UK release was the first UK single to maintain all the rap lyrics from Ray used in the European release. "Maximum Overdrive" reached number 15 on the UK Singles Chart, and was also a number-one hit in Finland and on the European Dance Radio Chart. "Tribal Dance" is a song by Belgian/Dutch Eurodance band 2 Unlimited. It was released in April 1993, by labels Byte, Zyx and PWL, as the second single from the band's second album, '' No Limits!'' (1993). The UK release omits the main rap but leaves in more vocals from band member Ray Slijngaard than any of their previous releases.
