Simone Alexandra Garcia Johnson (born August 14, 2001) is an American professional wrestler. She is signed to WWE under the ring name Ava and appears as the on-screen general manager of the NXT brand. Johnson is a fourth-generation wrestler, being the daughter of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, connecting her to the Anoaʻi family of Samoan origin. Early and personal life Johnson was born in Davie, Florida on August 14, 2001. She is the first daughter of professional wrestler and entertainer Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson (through whom she has two younger sisters from his second marriage) and Dany Garcia, a Cuban-American businesswoman, IFBB professional bodybuilder and producer. WWE Brand Extension
The brand extension, also referred to as the brand split, is the separation of the American professional wrestling promotion WWE's roster of wrestlers (and, at various times, creative staff) into distinct divisions, or "brands". The promotion's wrestlers are assigned to a brand via the annual WWE Draft and exclusively perform on that brand's weekly television show, with some exceptions. Throughout its history, WWE has utilized the brand extension twice. The first brand split occurred from 2002 to 2011, while the ongoing second began in 2016. WWE currently promotes four brands.
