Simon Tischer
Simon Tischer (born 24 April 1982) is a German retired volleyball player. He was born in Schwäbisch Gmünd. International career Simon Tischer was a member of the Germany men's national volleyball team, German National team for many years. He took part in many important international tournaments, such as at the 2006 FIVB Men's Volleyball World Championship, 2006 World Championship in Japan (5th rank), and at 2007 Men's European Volleyball Championship, 2007 European Championship in Russia (5th rank). He also competed at the Volleyball at the 2008 Summer Olympics – Men's tournament, Peking 2008 and Volleyball at the 2012 Summer Olympics – Men's tournament, London 2012 (5th rank) Olympic volleyball tournaments. Schwäbisch Gmünd
Schwäbisch Gmünd (, until 1934: Gmünd; Swabian: ''Gmẽẽd'' or ''Gmend'') is a city in the eastern part of the German state of Baden-Württemberg. Greek Volleyball Cup
The Greek Volleyball Cup is organized by Hellenic Volleyball Federation and started in 1980–81 season. The competition was not held sometimes in the past for financial reasons . Olympiacos won the first Cup in 1981 and is the most successful club, having won the title 18 times. They are also the current Cup holders. In 1986–87 edition, teams from the 1st Division did not take part. In 1998, Final 4 was established. In the period 2003–07, Final 8 were held. Greek Volleyball Super Cup
The Greek Volleyball Super Cup is a volleyball club competition that takes place in Greece since 1998. It is an annual match contested by the champions of Greek Volleyleague and the Greek Volleyball Cup winners. The matches take place in different cities and various dates every year. The competition usually was not held when a team has achieved the double. However, there have been times when a match called "Super Game" has been held, between the champions and the Cup runners-up, that the Volleyball Federation recognizes as the Super Cup final. The DVV-Pokal is the national cup competition of German volleyball . The organizer is the German Volleyball Association (DVV). The finals have been held in the SAP Arena in Mannheim since 2016 . The current title holders in 2021 are the United Volleys Frankfurt. Competition history The DVV Cup has been held since 1973. PlusLiga
The PlusLiga is the highest level of men's volleyball in Poland, a professional league competition featuring volleyball clubs located in this country. It is overseen by Polska Liga Siatkówki SA (PLS SA). It is currently a 14 teams league from October to April/May. The regular season is followed by playoffs, with the winner earning the Polish Championship ().
