Simon Mršić
Simon Mršić (born 18 June 1991) is a professional soccer player from the United States of Croatian descent currently playing for Delfines del Este FC in the Liga Dominicana de Fútbol. He is a son of former Yugoslav professional footballer Ivan Mršić. Club career At the beginning of his senior career, Mršić was with San Jose Earthquakes. In 2011, he moved to Europe joining Croatian side NK Varaždin for a period, but he left after a short spell due to financial problems at the club causing it to stop paying their players. Later he also spent a period with NK Osijek. Then he returned to the United States where he went on trial with MLS side Columbus Crew, but left the club as well after new administration came to the club. He was also a member of Sloga Doboj in Republika Srpska for a short period in 2014, without official appearances. Ivan Mršić
Ivan Mršić (born August 1, 1949), also known as John Mrsic and Big J, is a Yugoslav retired footballer. Born in Teslić, SR Bosnia and Herzegovina, Yugoslavia, he began his career in 1963, with local club FK Proleter Teslić. He was picked up by bigger club FK Borac Banja Luka the next season. He turned down an offer from Croatian Giants HNK Hajduk Split and went on to play with many Yugoslav clubs including three first division clubs NK Olimpija Ljubljana, FK Radnički Kragujevac, and Yugoslav power house FK Partizan although only playing two matches, both friendly. He finished his European career playing with FK Spartak Subotica and FK Pelister in the Yugoslav Second League before coming and playing professional in the United States for Fort Lauderdale Strikers in 1978. Subotica City Stadium ( sr, Градски стадион Суботица / Gradski stadion Subotica) is a multi-purpose stadium located in Subotica, Serbia. With a capacity of 13,000 people, it is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of FK Spartak Subotica from 1945. Fudbalski klub Spartak Ždrepčeva Krv () is a professional football club from Subotica, Serbia, that plays in the Serbian SuperLiga. The club was founded in 1945 and was named after Jovan Mikić Spartak, the leader of the Partisans in Subotica, who was a national hero and was killed in 1944. Marko Zečević ( sr-cyr, Марко Зечевић; born 6 August 1990) is a Serbian football forward. The 2016–17 Serbian SuperLiga was the eleventh season of the Serbian SuperLiga since its establishment. Red Star are the defending champions. The fixtures were announced on 15 June 2016.
