Simon Henry
Simon Peter Henry (born July 1961) was the chief financial officer of Royal Dutch Shell. He succeeded Peter Voser in that role who was promoted to chief executive officer of Shell on 1 July 2009. The chief financial officer (CFO) is an officer of a company or organization that is assigned the primary responsibility for managing the company's finances, including financial planning, management of financial risks, record-keeping, and financial reporting. Peter Robert Voser (born 29 August 1958) is a Swiss businessman, who is currently the Chairman of the Swedish- Swiss company ABB. He served as the CEO of the Dutch- British corporation Royal Dutch Shell from July 2009 to December 2013. He was also interim CEO of ABB from April 2019 to February 2020. He started his career at Royal Dutch Shell in 1982, working in a number of finance and business roles in different countries. Between 2002 and 2005 he served as chief financial officer for the Swedish- Swiss company ABB and the Dutch- British corporation Royal Dutch Shell.
