Simon Blackwell
Simon John Blackwell (born 27 May 1966) is an English comedy writer and producer. He is best known for his work on ''The Thick of It'', ''In The Loop'' and ''Veep'', and for his collaborations with Jesse Armstrong and Sam Bain on ''Peep Show'', ''Four Lions'' and '' The Old Guys''. Blackwell is the creator of the comedy series ''Back'', starring David Mitchell and Robert Webb, as well as ''Breeders'', starring Martin Freeman and Daisy Haggard. Battersea is a large district in southwest London, part of the London Borough of Wandsworth, England. ''The Big Impression'', known as ''Alistair McGowan's Big Impression'' for the first three series, is a British comedy sketch show. It features Alistair McGowan and Ronni Ancona impersonating personalities from entertainment and sport. Four series and a number of specials were made by Vera Productions and it was first broadcast on BBC One between 1999 and 2004. The series has won five awards, including the BAFTA TV Award for Best Comedy Programme or Series in 2003. Production McGowan and Ancona first met at a comedy club, and later started dating. Jim Tavaré
Jim Tavaré (born 1963) is a British stand-up comedian, actor, and musician. He is best known for his work on ''The Sketch Show'' on ITV, which won a BAFTA award. Sky One
Sky One was a British pay television channel operated and owned by Sky Group (a division of Comcast). Comedy drama (also known by the portmanteau dramedy) is a hybrid genre of works that combine elements of comedy and Drama (film and television), drama. Christopher J. Morris (born 15 June 1962) is an English comedian, radio presenter, actor and filmmaker. Known for his deadpan, dark humour, surrealism and controversial subject matter, he has been praised by the British Film Institute for his "uncompromising, moralistic drive". Morris teamed up with his radio producer Armando Iannucci in the early 1990s to create '' On the Hour'', a satire of news programmes. ''2004: The Stupid Version'' is a satirical documentary written by Armando Iannucci, broadcast on BBC Three on New Year's Eve 2004. The one-off programme is a parody of review programmes, which are typically broadcast at New Year. It features edited footage from news and television series, as well as satires on the politics and fads of a year in which "only Andrew Marr kept his dignity". The documentary was shown again on BBC Two on 29 January 2005, but has not been repeated since or released on DVD, although clips are available on the internet.
