Silvia Treimer (born 29 March 1970) is a German ski mountaineer. Treimer was born in Berchtesgaden and lives in Rosenheim. Berchtesgaden () is a municipality in the district Berchtesgadener Land, Bavaria, in southeastern Germany, near the border with Austria, south of Salzburg and southeast of Munich. Barbara Gruber (born 15 December 1977) is a German ski mountaineer and mountain biker. Gruber was born in Bad Reichenhall. Like her parents and siblings, she passed the framer training. She started with sports after the birth of her son Johannes, at first with mountain biking. Stefanie "Steffi" Koch (born 13 October 1981) is a German ski mountaineer. Koch was born in Anger and grew on the farm of their parents with her three siblings. In her teens she started mountain biking and participated in triathlon competitions. She passed the clerical administrative assistant training and was inspired of ski mountaineering by her boyfriend Stefan Klinger. Mountain Attack
The "Mountain Attack" is an annual Austrian ski mountaineering competition, carried out near Saalbach since 1999. The competition is separated in a short distance and a long distance course, each offered for a female and a male racer class. There is a separate ranking of racers, older than 45 years. The marathon track passes six summits, and includes an altitude difference of 3,000 meters for the total ascent and for skiing down.
