Silver Marches (accessory)
''Silver Marches'' is a supplement to the Editions of Dungeons & Dragons, 3rd edition of the ''Dungeons & Dragons'' role-playing game. Contents ''Silver Marches'' details the region known as the Silver Marches in the Forgotten Realms setting. The book details the towns and settlements of the burgeoning Silver Marches alliance, as well as the many hazards that threaten it. The book notes that Silverymoon is defended by Taern Hornblade, successor to Alustriel as the High Mage of Silverymoon, with Methrammar Aerasumé of the Argent Legion, Sernius Alathar of the Knights of Silver, and Jorus Azuremantle of the Spellguard. Role-playing Game
A role-playing game (sometimes spelled roleplaying game, RPG) is a game in which players assume the roles of player character, characters in a fictional Setting (narrative), setting. Players take responsibility for acting out these roles within a narrative, either through literal acting or through a process of structured decision-making regarding character development. Actions taken within many games succeed or fail according to a formal role-playing game system, system of rules and guidelines. There are several forms of role-playing games. Jeff Easley
Jeff Easley (born 1954) is an oil painter who creates fantasy artwork for role-playing games, comics, and magazines, as well as non-fantasy commercial art. Early life Easley was born in Nicholasville, Kentucky in 1954. He spent time drawing as a child, particularly creatures such as ghosts and monsters. Arnie Swekel
Arnie Swekel is an artist whose work has appeared in role-playing games. Background Swekel was born May 2, 1964, and grew up in River Rouge, Michigan. After graduating high school he briefly attended The Center for Creative Studies (now called College for Creative Studies) in Detroit but left after only one semester. Swekel's interest in art continued unabated, however and, while largely self-taught, began his career as a professional artist at age 27. Swekel currently works as a principal artist at the computer game company Raven Software and lives in the Madison Wisconsin area with his wife and three children. Richard Sardinha is an American artist based in Providence, Rhode Island, whose work has appeared in role-playing games. Works Richard Sardinha has been illustrating books since the 1980s. Adam Rex
Adam Michael Rex (born May 16, 1973) is an American illustrator and author of children's books from Tucson, Arizona. Career Adam Rex received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Arizona. He has contributed illustrations to ''Magic: The Gathering'' and other fantasy art and has illustrated several children's books. Adam has noted that his history with fantasy drawings initially hurt his entry into children's books. Christopher Moeller (born May 1, 1963) is an American writer and painter, specializing in fully painted graphic novels. Moeller's signature creation is the Iron Empires science-fiction universe, comprising three fully painted graphic novels Faith Conquers, Sheva's War and Void, a short story in Dark Horse Presents, and a second in the anthology Negative Burn. In 2006, an Iron Empires role-playing game was published, called Burning Empires. Early life and education Moeller was born in Ithaca, New York and currently lives in Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania. Matthew Mitchell is an American artist whose work has appeared in role-playing games. Early life and education Originally from Minnesota, Matthew Mitchell spent a year studying biology/premedical illustration at Iowa State University in Ames. Mitchell then attended the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Mitchell collaborated with artist Perre DiCarlo and local community gardeners to build a stone amphitheater in Manhattan's Lower East Side, and then worked as a cabinetmaker and a welder.
