Silvano Ramaccioni
Silvano Ramaccioni (born 15 January 1939) is an Italian football executive and former sporting director. Managerial career He began his career in football as the secretary of Città di Castello, a role he held from 1963 to 1973. Subsequently, after a year as sports director of Cesena in Serie A in the 1973–74 season, he took on the same role at Perugia from the following season. He sat as a sporting director on the bench of the Grifoni in the 1978-79 season, the season of Perugia's miracles, which went down in Italian football history as the first team in the history of the single round to remain unbeaten for an entire season. In 1982, he moved to Milan, where he served as sports director until 1989 and subsequently as team manager until 2008. In the 1991–92 season, he managed to repeat the record achieved in Perugia thirteen years earlier. Città Di Castello
Città di Castello (); "Castle Town") is a city and ''comune'' in the province of Perugia, in the northern part of Umbria. It is situated on a slope of the Apennine Mountains, Apennines, on the flood plain along the upper part of the river Tiber. The city is north of Perugia and south of Cesena on the motorway SS 3 bis. It is connected by the SS 73 with Arezzo and the A1 highway, situated 38 km (23 mi) west. The ''comune'' of Città di Castello has an exclave named Monte Ruperto within Marche. History The town was founded by the ancient Umbri, an Italic tribe, on the left bank of the Tiber River. The town may have come into conflict with the nearby Etruscans. AC Cesena, commonly referred to as Cesena (), was an Italian football club based in Cesena, Emilia-Romagna. The club spent most of its history in professional leagues such as Serie A and Serie B, but went bankrupt and folded in 2018. Another club from Cesena, A.S.D. Romagna Centro Cesena, claims to be the bankrupted club's successor and in 2019 changed its name to "Cesena F.C.". The club was formed in 1940 and won its first promotion to Serie A in 1973. Since then, the club have been in Serie A for a total of 13 seasons, their best achievement coming in 1976 with a sixth-placed finish and a short run in the following season's UEFA Cup.
