Sigvard Ericsson
John Sigvard "Sigge" Ericsson (17 July 1930 – 2 November 2019) was a Swedish Speed skating, speed skater. He competed at the 1952 and 1956 Olympics and won a gold and a silver medal in 1956. Biography Ericsson started competing internationally in 1951 at the European Speed Skating Championships, European Allround Championships where he did not qualify for the final distance. Sixten Jernberg
Edy Sixten Jernberg, known as "Sixten", (6 February 1929 – 14 July 2012) was a Swedish cross-country skier and one of the most successful cross-country skiers of all time. Between 1952 and 1964 he took part in 363 ski races, finishing within the podium in 263 and winning 134 of them; during this period he won four world titles and nine Olympic medals. Lars Göran Ivar Hall (30 April 1927 – 26 April 1991) was a Swedish modern pentathlete who competed at the 1952 and 1956 Summer Olympics. Bengt Nilsson (17 February 1934 – 11 May 2018) was a Swedish high jumper. Adelskalender (skating)
The Adelskalender in skating is a ranking for long track speed skating based on skaters' all-time personal records for certain distances. As in samalog competitions, the skater's time (measured in seconds) for each distance is divided in 500 metre averages, truncated (not rounded) to 3 decimal places, and the results are then added up – the lower the sum, the better. The samalog system was introduced in 1928 in Norway, replacing ranking points in the traditional 4 distance championships, and can also be used to reconstruct scores based on personal records that were set before the samalog system was invented. Lake Misurina
Lake Misurina (; Cadorino dialect: ''Lago de Meśorìna'') is the largest natural lake of the Cadore and it is 1,754 metre, m above sea level, near Auronzo di Cadore (Belluno). The lake's perimeter is 2.6 km long, while the maximum depth is 5 m. Near the lake there are about ten hotels with accommodation for around 500 people. The particular climatic characteristics of the area around the lake make particularly good air for those who have respiratory diseases. Near the lake is the only center in Italy for the care of childhood asthma. The lake was the theme of a famous song by Claudio Baglioni.
