Sigvald Tveit
Sigvald Tveit (14 March 1945 – 8 January 2019) was a Norwegian composer and musicologist. Biography Born in Nissedal, Tveit studied at the University of Oslo and the Norwegian Academy of Music, and was appointed at the University of Oslo from 1972. From 1984 he was associate professor. His compositions include music for the television series '' Sesam Stasjon'' and ''Portveien 2 ''Portveien 2'' was a children's TV-show produced by NRK, which premiered on 19 March 1985. It has had many reruns, and has become a part of Norwegian TV history. The show produced 140 episodes. The outdoor footage for the series was filmed in a ...'', and other shows. His musical plays include ''Visst skal våren komme'' (1983), ''Det gode landet'' (1986), ''Livstreet'' (1994), and ''Pilgrimen'' (1997). He died in Oslo on 8 January 2019. Nissedal
Nissedal is a rural municipality in Telemark in the county of Vestfold og Telemark in Norway. It is part of the traditional regions of Upper Telemark and Vest-Telemark. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Treungen. The municipality of Nissedal was established on January 1, 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt). As of 2018, Nissedal is home to 1,489 full-time residents and 2,246 vacation homes.
