Sigvald Tveit
Sigvald Tveit (14 March 1945 – 8 January 2019) was a Norwegian composer and musicologist. Biography Born in Nissedal, Tveit studied at the University of Oslo and the Norwegian Academy of Music, and was appointed at the University of Oslo from 1972. From 1984 he was associate professor. His compositions include music for the television series ''Sesam Stasjon'' and '' Portveien 2'', and other shows. His musical plays include ''Visst skal våren komme'' (1983), ''Det gode landet'' (1986), ''Livstreet'' (1994), and ''Pilgrimen'' (1997). Nissedal is a rural Municipalities of Norway, municipality in Telemark region of Telemark Counties of Norway, county, Norway. Sesam Stasjon
''Sesam stasjon'' () was a 1990s Norwegian children's television series that ran on NRK1 (and sometime NRK2) based on ''Sesame Street''. It quickly became the most popular children's show in Norway after its début in 1991, and 198 episodes were made until 1999. Unlike their predecessors from all over the world it is set in a railway station near a town instead of the traditional Sesame Street neighbourhood. Each episode is 30 minutes, of which 15–20 are from the Norwegian production and 10–15 are dubbed from ''Sesame Street''. Portveien 2
''Portveien 2'' was a children's TV-show produced by NRK, which premiered on 19 March 1985. It has had many reruns, and has become a part of Norwegian TV history. The show produced 140 episodes. The outdoor footage for the series was filmed in a little house in the allotment gardens at Sagene in Oslo, Norway. Portveien 2 is not a real address, the closest street is Kongsvingergata. The series was NRK's first production where the shootings were rationalised, so one could make a large volume of episodes. ''Portveien 2'' was an attempt to make a children's show for the youngest children and at the same time engage the whole family. The themes in the shows were generally attached to nature, but also to fairytales, traditions, feelings and other social relationships.
