Lydia Huntley Sigourney (September 1, 1791 – June 10, 1865), Lydia Howard Huntley, was an American poet, author, and publisher during the early and mid 19th century. She was commonly known as the "Sweet Singer of Hartford, Connecticut, Hartford." She had a long career as a literary expert, publishing 52 books and in over 300 periodicals in her lifetime. Sigourney Bandjar (born 18 August 1984) is a Dutch former professional footballer. He previously played five years for Excelsior. Career Club In August 2010, Bandjar signed a one-year contract with RKC Waalwijk, before renewing it for another year the following summer. Sigourney Thayer (March 24, 1896 – November 2, 1944) was an American theatrical producer, World War I aviator, and poet. Early life Thayer was born in Southborough, Massachusetts, the son of Rev. William Greenough Thayer (1863–1934), headmaster of St. Mark's School from 1894–1930, and Violet (née Otis) Thayer, a member of the Boston Brahmin Otis family of Boston. He was the brother of Robert Helyer Thayer (1901−1984), a lawyer, naval officer and diplomat. Career In June 1916, Thayer enlisted and first served on the American-Mexican border. Sigourney Trask (June 14, 1849 - March 20, 1936) was an American physician and missionary. She is remembered as being the first woman physician at Fuzhou, China sent by the Methodist Episcopal Church missionaries. Biography Trask was born June 14, 1849, in Spring Creek, Pennsylvania. Her mother died while Trask was young, and thereafter, she was raised by her paternal grandparents, who resided in Youngsville, Pennsylvania. At the age of 14, she joined the Methodist Episcopal Church. She graduated from the Pennsylvania Female College (now Chatham University) in Pittsburgh, and then at the Elizabeth Blackwell Woman's Medical College of New York City.
