Sidsel Dalen
Sidsel Dalen (born 27 November 1969) is a Norwegian journalist and crime fiction writer. Literary career Dalen made her literary debut in 2011 with ''Dødelige dråper'', a thriller novel set in Rio in Brazil, where the protagonist "Mia Mikkelsen" is a journalist who meets corruption, environmental crimes and abuse of power in the oil industry. Her novel ''21 dager'' (2013) is set in Norway, and was nominated to the Riverton Prize. In the novel ''Nødhjelp'' (2015), "Mia" deals with corruption in the Department of Defence. Education and journalistic career Dalen graduated in anthropology and mass communication from the Goldsmiths, University of London. She further studied at the University of Oslo and the London School of Economics, graduating in media and European studies. Fritt Ord is a Norwegian private foundation, whose aim is to support freedom of expression and a free press. Preben Munthe
Preben Hempel Munthe (15 October 1922 – 3 January 2013) was a Norwegian economist. He was born in Aker, the son of librarian Wilhelm Munthe (1883–1965) and his wife Jenny Hempel (1882–1975). Gerhard Munthe was his elder brother. The younger Munthe finished his secondary education in 1941, and graduated from the University of Oslo with the cand.oecon. degree five years later. He was employed as a research fellow at the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration in the following year, and was promoted to docent in 1956. He took his doctorate in 1961, and was a professor at the University of Oslo from 1961 to 1992. Parallel to this he served as the State Conciliator of Norway from 1965 to 1974. TVNorge (literally "TVNorway"; originally abbreviated TVN, now just abbreviated N in the logos) is a Norwegian television channel owned by Warner Bros. Discovery EMEA. History TVNorge went on the air on 5 December 1988 and was the first advertising-supported Norwegian channel. The channel was started with 50 000 NOK. The first broadcast was a live variety show from Oslo Cabaret with Swedish singer Lill-Babs and Norwegian pop group Tomboy as musical guests.
