Quinte West () is a city, geographically located in but List of Ontario separated municipalities, administratively separated from Hastings County, in Southern Ontario, Canada. It is on the western end of the Bay of Quinte on Lake Ontario. The Lake Ontario terminus of the Trent–Severn Waterway is in the municipality. Sidney Township, Champaign County, Illinois
Sidney Township is a township in Champaign County, Illinois, USA. As of the 2020 census, its population was 1,709 and it contained 723 housing units. Geography Sidney is Township 18 North, Range 10 East of the Third Principal Meridian. In 1881 the Wabash railroad built a spur from Sidney to Urbana on the route of a vanished 1838 unpaved dirt road going from Paris in Edgar County to Urbana. In 1854 the road was part of the mail stage route from Urbana to Vincennes, Indiana. The road disappeared when township roads on section lines were established in 1860. According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of , of which (or 99.67%) is land and (or 0.33%) is water. The stream of Rush Branch runs through this township. The Salt Fork of the Vermilion River winds its way through the northern sections of the township. Sidney Township is a civil township of Montcalm County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 2,538 at the 2020 census. Geography The township is in southwestern Montcalm County and is bordered to the northeast by the city of Stanton, the county seat. Part of the village of Sheridan occupies the southeast corner of the township. State highway M-66 runs along the eastern border of the township, connecting Stanton and Sheridan. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Sidney Township has a total area of , of which are land and , or 3.12%, are water. Towner County, North Dakota
Towner County is a county in the U.S. state of North Dakota. As of the 2020 census, the population is 2,162. Its county seat is Cando. It is south of the Canada–US border with Manitoba. History The Dakota Territory legislature created the county on March 8, 1883, with areas partitioned from Cavalier and Rolette counties. It was named for Oscar M. Towner (1842–1897), a businessman and member of the 15th territorial legislature. The county organization was not completed at that time, and the county was attached to Pembina County for judicial and administrative purposes. That lasted until January 24, 1884, when the county organization was effected, and its attachment to Pembina was dissolved. However, on January 26, 1889, the county was attached to Ramsey County for judicial and administrative purposes. This arrangement only lasted a few months. Perkins County is a county in the U.S. state of South Dakota. As of the 2020 census, the population was 2,835. Its county seat is Bison. The county was established in 1908 and organized in 1909. It was named for Sturgis, South Dakota, official Henry E. Perkins. Geography Perkins County lies on the north edge of South Dakota. Its north boundary line abuts the south boundary line of the state of North Dakota. The Grand River flows eastward through the upper part of the county, and the Moreau River flows eastward through the lower part of the county. Shadehill Reservoir is a large impoundment on the Grand River in the county. Perkins County terrain consists of semi-arid rolling hills, carved by drainage creeks, sparsely dedicated to agriculture.
