Sidharth Sharma
Sidharth Sharma (23 October 1994 – 12 January 2023) was an Indian cricketer. He made his first-class cricket, first-class debut for Himachal Pradesh cricket team, Himachal Pradesh in the 2017–18 Ranji Trophy on 1 November 2017. He made his List A cricket, List A debut on 21 December 2021, for Himachal Pradesh in the 2021–22 Vijay Hazare Trophy. Sharma died after a brief illness in Vadodara, Gujarat on 12 January 2023, at the age of 28. First-class cricket, along with List A cricket and Twenty20 cricket, is one of the highest-standard forms of cricket. A first-class match is of three or more days scheduled duration between two sides of eleven players each and is officially adjudged to be worthy of the status by virtue of the standard of the competing teams. Matches must allow for the teams to play two innings each, although in practice a team might play only one innings or none at all. Himachal Pradesh Cricket Team
The Himachal Pradesh cricket team is an Indian cricket team based in Himachal Pradesh. It has competed in the Ranji Trophy since the 1985–86 season. They have won their first domestic trophy, by winning the 2021–22 edition of Vijay Hazare Trophy. Playing history Himachal Pradesh lost all five of their matches in both 1985–86 and 1987–88 seasons by an innings. They won for the first time when they beat Services by one wicket in 1990–91. 2017–18 Ranji Trophy
The 2017–18 Ranji Trophy was the 84th season of the Ranji Trophy, the premier first-class cricket tournament that took place in India between October 2017 and January 2018. Vidarbha won the tournament, beating Delhi by 9 wickets in the final, to win their first Ranji Trophy title. Vidarbha made their Ranji Trophy debut in the 1957–58 season, making it the third-longest wait before a team won their maiden title. 2021–22 Vijay Hazare Trophy
The 2021–22 Vijay Hazare Trophy was the 29th edition of the Vijay Hazare Trophy, an annual List A cricket tournament in India. It was played from 8 December 2021, and finished on 26 December 2021. Mumbai were the defending champions. Originally, the tournament was scheduled to start on 23 February 2022, but was later preponed to 1 December 2021 and then postponed to 8 December 2021.
