Oblast
An oblast ( or ) is a type of administrative division in Bulgaria and several post-Soviet states, including Belarus, Russia and Ukraine. Historically, it was used in the Russian Empire and the Soviet Union. The term ''oblast'' is often translated into English language, English as 'region' or 'province'. Raion
A raion (also spelt rayon) is a type of administrative unit of several post-Soviet states. The term is used for both a type of subnational entity and a division of a city. The word is from the French (meaning 'honeycomb, department'), and is commonly translated as ' district' in English. A raion is a standardized administrative entity across most of the former Soviet Union and is usually a subdivision two steps below the national level, such as a subdivision of an oblast. However, in smaller USSR republics, it could be the primary level of administrative division. After the fall of the Soviet Union, some of the republics kept the ''raion'' (e.g. Azerbaijan, Belarus, Ukraine, Russia, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan) while others dropped it (e.g. Georgia, Uzbekistan, Estonia, Latvia, Armenia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan). Sambir Raion
Sambir Raion () is a raion (district) in Lviv Oblast in western Ukraine. Its capital (political), administrative center is Sambir. Population: It was established in 1965. On 18 July 2020, as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, the number of raions of Lviv Oblast was reduced to seven, and the area of Sambir Raion was significantly expanded. Two abolished raions, Staryi Sambir Raion, Staryi Sambir and Turka Raions, as well as the city of Sambir, which was previously incorporated as a City of regional significance (Ukraine), city of oblast significance and did not belong to the raion, were merged into Sambir Raion. Hromada
In Ukraine, a hromada () is the main type of municipality and the third level Administrative divisions of Ukraine, local self-government in Ukraine. The current hromadas were established by the Cabinet of ministers of Ukraine, Government of Ukraine on 12 June 2020. A municipality is designated ''urban hromada'' if its administration is located in a city; ''settlement hromada'' if it is located in a settlement (''selyshche''), and ''rural hromada'' if it is located in a village (Village#Ukraine, ''selo'') or a ''selyshche''. Hromadas are grouped to form Raions of Ukraine, raions (districts); groups of raions form Oblasts of Ukraine, oblasts (regions). Andriy Kuzmenko
Andriy Viktorovych "Kuzma" Kuzmenko (; 17 August 1968 – 2 February 2015) was a Ukrainian singer, poet, writer, TV presenter, producer and actor, Hero of Ukraine (2020). He was best known as the lead singer of the Ukrainian rock band Skryabin, founded in 1989. He died in a traffic collision on 2nd of February 2015 in Lozuvatka, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, aged 46. Biography Andriy Kuzmenko was born on 17 August 1968, in Sambir, Lviv region. His family moved to the city of Novoyavorivsk, where he would start his career. As a child, he dreamed of becoming a garbage truck driver. His mother was a music teacher, while his father was an engineer. Kuzmenko, an only child, graduated from music school and from the Faculty of Dentistry. He was not interested in dentistry, but finished his studies at the request of the parents.
