Shuvoye () is a Classification of inhabited localities in Russia, settlement in Yegoryevsky District, Moscow Oblast, Yegoryevsky District of Moscow Oblast, Russia, located on the Shuvoyka River (Guslitsa River, Guslitsa's tributary). In 1935, it was granted urban-type settlement status. During Soviet Union, Soviet times, it was called Krasny Tkach (, lit. ''red weaver''); the original name was restored in August 2001. In December 2001, it was demoted to a settlement of rural type. The settlement is located in the historical area of Guslitsa. There is a wooden Old Believers' (Russian Orthodox Old-Rite Church) Trinity Church built in 1924 in Shuvoye, a rare instances of a church having been built during the Soviet era. Guslitsa
Guslitsa, Guslica, or Guslicy () is a region situated in the eastern part of Moscow Oblast. Guslitsa is famous for it was almost entirely inhabited by the Old Believers, mainly popovtsy (Belokrinitskaya Hierarchy, now — Russian Orthodox Old-Rite Church). Name Guslitsa occurs from the Guslitsa River. Guslitsa is also well known for its cultural heritage and its home-crafts, mainly hand-written singing books and copper mouldings. Guslitsa has its center in the Rudnya and Ilyinsky Pogost villages. Nowadays Guslitsa lies almost entirely within Orekhovo-Zuyevsky District of Moscow Oblast. The regions neighboring Guslitsa (currently also unofficial) were also mainly inhabited by the old believers and were influenced by the Guslitsa culture a lot.
