, better known simply as , is a Japanese professional wrestler, shoot boxer, kickboxer and mixed martial artist. She is signed to World Wonder Ring Stardom, where she is the leader of God's Eye as well as the current IWGP Women's Champion in her first reign. Syuri started her professional wrestling career in Hustle, where she performed under the ring name KG (Karate Girl). Syuri later worked for Hustle's two follow-up promotions; Smash, where she was the final Smash Diva Champion, and Wrestling New Classic (WNC), where she was a two-time WNC Women's Champion. is a Japanese professional wrestler. Trained by Meiko Satomura, Okuda started her career in the Sendai Girls' Pro Wrestling promotion in 2006, where she originally worked under her real name and later under the ring name . Shuri, Okinawa
is a district of the city of Naha, Okinawa, Japan. Formerly a separate city in and of itself, it was once the royal capital of the Ryūkyū Kingdom, hence the name. A number of famous historical sites are located in Shuri, including Shuri Castle, the Shureimon gate, Sunuhyan-utaki (a sacred space of the native Ryukyuan religion), and royal mausoleum Tamaudun, all of which are designated World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. Shuri Castle
is a Ryukyu Islands, Ryukyuan ''gusuku'' castle in Shuri, Okinawa, Shuri, Okinawa Prefecture, Japan. Between 1429 and 1879, it was the palace of the Ryukyu Kingdom, before becoming largely neglected. In 1945, during the Battle of Okinawa, it was almost completely destroyed. After the war, the castle was re-purposed as a university campus. Beginning in 1992, the central citadel and walls were largely reconstructed on the original site based on historical records, photographs, and memory. In 2000, Shuri Castle was designated as a World Heritage Site, as a part of the Gusuku Sites and Related Properties of the Kingdom of Ryukyu. Shuri-ryū
karate is an eclectic martial arts system developed by Robert Trias (1923–1989), reportedly the first American to teach a form of karate in the mainland United States, and also opened his public first dojo in 1946 in Phoenix, Arizona. History Shuri-ryū is a style that has a lineage coming from a variety of sources, including karate. Other influences include ''xingyiquan''. Trias was first introduced to karate while in the Navy during World War II when he was stationed in the Solomon Islands. In 1944, Robert Trias met Tung Gee Hsing and began training with him.
