Show Biz Bugs
''Show Biz Bugs'' is a 1957 Warner Bros. ''Looney Tunes'' animated short directed by Friz Freleng and featuring Mel Blanc. The short was released on November 2, 1957, and stars Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck. Plot Upon arriving at the theater where he and Bugs are performing, Daffy Duck is incensed to find Bugs' name on the marquee in considerably larger letters. The unseen manager justifies this by citing the relative drawing power of the performers. Further humiliated, Daffy discovers that his dressing room is a poorly disguised restroom. Friz Freleng
Isadore "Friz" Freleng (; August 21, 1905May 26, 1995), credited as I. Freleng early in his career, was an American animator, cartoonist, Film director, director, Film producer, producer, and composer known for his work at Warner Bros. Cartoons on the ''Looney Tunes'' and ''Merrie Melodies'' series of cartoons from the 1930s to the early 1960s. In total he created more than 300 cartoons. He introduced and/or developed several of the studio's biggest stars, including Bugs Bunny, Porky Pig, Tweety, Sylvester the Cat, Sylvester, Yosemite Sam (to whom he was said to bear more than a passing resemblance), Granny (Looney Tunes), Granny, and Speedy Gonzales. Daffy Duck
Daffy Duck is an animated cartoon character created by animators Tex Avery and Bob Clampett for Leon Schlesinger Productions. Styled as an anthropomorphic black duck, he has appeared in cartoon series such as ''Looney Tunes'' and '' Merrie Melodies'', in which he is usually depicted as a foil for either Bugs Bunny, Porky Pig or Speedy Gonzales. ''Apes of Wrath'' is a 1959 Warner Bros. ''Merrie Melodies'' animated short directed by Friz Freleng. The short was released on April 18, 1959, and stars Bugs Bunny with a cameo from Daffy Duck at the end. This cartoon recycles the plot from the 1948 cartoon '' Gorilla My Dreams''. The title is a parody of John Steinbeck's novel ''The Grapes of Wrath''. ''Person to Bunny'' is a 1960 ''Merrie Melodies'' animated cartoon directed by Friz Freleng. The short was released on April 1, 1960, and stars Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and Elmer Fudd. It is the last cartoon to feature Arthur Q. Bryan as the voice of Elmer, and was released shortly after Bryan's death.
