Shoaib Khan (born 6 December 1992) is an Indian-born cricketer who plays for the Oman cricket team. In September 2021, he was named in Oman's One Day International (ODI) squad for round six and round seven of the 2019–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup League 2. He made his ODI debut on 14 September 2021 against Nepal. The 2022 United Arab Emirates Tri-Nation Series was the 9th round of the 2019–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 cricket tournament that took place in the United Arab Emirates in March 2022. Originally scheduled to take place in December 2021, it was moved to March 2022 due to fixtures impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic being rearranged. The tri-nation series was contested between Namibia, Oman and the United Arab Emirates cricket teams, with the matches played as One Day International (ODI) fixtures. The 2021–22 Oman Quadrangular Series was a Twenty20 International (T20I) cricket tournament that took place in Oman in February 2022. The participating teams were the hosts Oman along with Ireland, Nepal and the United Arab Emirates. The series provided all four teams with preparation for the T20 World Cup Global Qualifier Group A, which began on 18 February 2022. The opening match of the series, which was scheduled to be between Ireland and the UAE, was rescheduled after Ireland's luggage did not arrive on time. The 2019–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 is the first edition of the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2, a cricket tournament which forms part of the 2023 Cricket World Cup Qualification process.
