Hunsur Krishnamurthy
Hunsur Krishnamurthy (9 February 1914 – 13 February 1989) was an Indian playwright, film director, producer, actor, screenwriter and lyricist in Kannada cinema. He worked with noted theatre personalities early in his career; Gubbi Veeranna, Mohammed Peer and B. R. Panthulu before entering films. As a film director, he made films mostly in the mythological genre such as '' Satya Harishchandra'' (1965), '' Bhakta Kumbara'' (1974) and '' Babruvahana'' (1977), all of which star Rajkumar. Aarathi (born as Bharathi in 1954) is a former Indian actress and director who prominently worked in Kannada films during the 1970s and 1980s. Her accolades include four Karnataka State Film Awards and four Filmfare Awards. Besides Kannada, Aarathi has appeared in few Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films. Venkataraju known by his professional name Rajanand (1927-2004), was an Indian actor in the Kannada film industry. Some of the notable films of Rajanand as an actor include ''Operation Diamond Racket'' (1978), '' Mayura'' (1975), and '' Eradu Kanasu'' (1974). Raaga
A raga ( ; , ; ) is a melodic framework for improvisation in Indian classical music akin to a melodic mode. It is central to classical Indian music. Each raga consists of an array of melodic structures with musical motifs; and, from the perspective of the Indian tradition, the resulting music has the ability to "colour the mind" as it engages the emotions of the audience. Manjula (Kannada Actress)
Honnenhalli Shivanna Manjula (8 November 1954 – 12 September 1986) was an Indian actress who acted in predominantly Kannada language films in addition to Tamil (credited as ''Kumari Manjula'') and Telugu films (credited as ''Kannada Manjula''). She was one of the most successful and prominent actresses of Kannada films in the 1970s and 1980s. She acted in more than 100 films and won several awards for her performances, including a Filmfare Award. Personal life Manjula was born to M. H. Shivanna and Deveramma in Honnenahalli, a village in Tumkur District. Her father Shivanna was a police sub inspector.
